Jill Ansell is a New Mexico painter and Jungian-oriented psychotherapist who has practiced Vajrayana Buddhism for many years.
She has spent a lifetime attending to the inner life — her own and others’ — through depth psychology, contemplative practice, and art. She lives in northern New Mexico with her dog, Cordelia, where she continues to write, paint, and see clients.
For ten years she was an artist in residence at a maximum-security prison in California, and her paintings — many of them reproduced in this memoir — have been exhibited widely.
